The braces are off and the smile is bigger than ever. I was so impressed with Dr. Richards and his staff. They stopped everything and paid a special tribute to Chan for about 5 minutes. They turned up the music and the entire crew including Dr. Richard's and Chan danced around the room. It was so much fun. What a great group.

I'm thinking this boy looks pretty darn handsome. I guess the 3 LONG years of braces finely paid off!

Spring has sprung..... I hope!

Flowers are like big bouquets of candy. They are all so beautiful and yummy! Don't you think? I have such a hard time choosing flowers because I want them ALL!

I had such a fun time yesterday picking out flowers with Chandler . He was a huge help to me and we had a great time grabbing flowers left and right. CC was waiting at my house placing the plants and flowers in their new home. She has an amazing eye for color, size, placement and time & length of bloom. I would've been LOST without her. Plus, she worked her head off planting, watering and cleaning up our big mess.

I'm so happy it's DONE!!! Now I get to enjoy these beauties all summer long! Here are a few of my favorite "candies".

Cool pot huh? Gotta love Home Depot! It was really hard to choose a color. They had Red, Yellow, Green, Brown and this awesome turquoise color. LOVE!



We are redoing our stucco as well. We decided to change the color of our house while our guys fix all the damage. Why not right? Stay tuned for pictures of the new look next week!
Bryn had another graduation party today. BRIGHTON PAWS PRESCHOOL is the best preschool on the planet. In fact, she calls it her 'FUN' preschool. These kids are so darling and have been great examples to Brynners. Thanks guys.... we'll always remember your kindness!
Looks like Bryn and I will just have to grow OLD together. Oh, I could cry : (

Preschool graduation...

Today is kind of a sad day for me. My baby Bryn graduated from Preschool. She's growing up so quickly and before I know it, she'll be off to college. Although, the other day she announced she was going to get married and she and her husband were going to live with us, in our guest room, forever. She has it all planned out and I quite like her little plan.

Brace face....

Well, today is Chan Chan's big day. Let it be known that on May 26, 2010 Chandler gets his braces off. Hip Hip Hooray!!! The kid has been sporting braces for 3 years now. He got them in 6th grade and is getting them removed the last week of 9th grade. Sheesh! That's along time.

He's so excited. He can barely stand it! We've gotten so used to his shiny metal mouth, it's gonna be hard to get used to his new look.

Ogden half Marathon...

Man, I've been busy doin' a whole lot of nothing lately. I need to snap out of it fast. For me, it's all about the weather. Mother nature gets to predict my mood on a daily basis. Pretty pathetic huh?

I thought I should finally talk about the half marathon I ran 2 weeks ago.

It was such a beautiful run. Beautiful canyon. Beautiful lake. Beautiful views every which way.

I was super nervous to run this half because I hadn't trained the way I should've. Luckily, I had great friends around me, helping me every step of the way. Joe unexpectedly had to fly to France for the week and was unable to run it with me. I'm so grateful for such a great group of friends that allowed me to lean on them HARD core.

Yay..... We did it! Our group was SMOKIN' FAST! Everyone finished strong. Amazingly enough, I was able to beat my Moab time by almost 4 minutes. I think we'll definitely run the Ogden half every year. I love the strong feeling of accomplishment when I push my body and do something hard.
