Miracles

I'm convinced that miracles take place in our lives every single day, but rarely do we understand or acknowledge such intimate power. I am grateful and amazed that our Uncle Danny has made such a miraculous recovery.
After seeing the pictures of his car accident, I know Heavenly Father took care of our friend and has placed him in His care.
Danny has a long road ahead, but grows stronger each day.
He looks fantastic and is an amazing guy with an amazing family and we are so grateful he has a strong will to live.
We love this cute lil family more than anything in the world and we are counting our many, many blessing this Thanksgiving.
We LOVE you!!!

The final score...

Well......
Saturday was a crazy day for the Pia's.
Our emotions were bouncing off the walls.

AND.....

THE FINAL SCORE.....

ALTA 20
BRIGHTON 19

Even though we came in second, these boys are true champions.
I'm so impressed with them.
They fought HARD all year and kept a positive attitude.
They loved their teammates and had so much respect for their coaches.

I think this is one of those special years we will always cherish.
They were sad after the game, but held their heads high and praised and hugged each other like they were family.
We will truly miss this team and the friendships we've made.
I guess there's always next year right???

~Chan with his awesome coaches~
~Miles, Chan, Madi & Tori~
I'm glad that smile is still going strong
What a privilege it is to be a mom and to enjoy every possible opportunity to
spend time with my kids. We've had an amazing season, but I think Chan has already switched gears and will be trying out for the Lacrosse team on Saturday.......
Here we go again!

The BIG countdown...

This is it....
the BIG countdown!
Tomorrow morning at 10:30 BRIGHTON will be playing Alta in the championships.

I AM SO NERVOUS!!!!!

I'm even more nervous because Our quarterback is out with a broken thumb. Our back-up quarterback broke his collar bone yesterday...... so, what does this mean???
It means Chan Chan is the quarterback for the championship game.
He hasn't played QB for 3 years and had to learn 36 new plays last night.... yikes!
I wish I could fast forward time and see how this plays out....
We have the best coaches in the world and whatever happens, I know they are PROUD of these boys!
If you see CHAN.... wish him luck!
I hope Chandler is all smiles after the game
Good luck Bengals....
you're the BEST

Halloween re-cap...

We had such a blast this Halloween
Joe and I decided to do something different and throw an unforgettable block party....
at least I hope it was unforgettable.
We hired a band called "UnBaLaNcEd" to rock the house for a few hours, while we ate and hung out, before the trick-0-treater's were in full swing

The band dressed up like KISS and played 80's music. It was a real treat and quite nostalgic for those of us who loved the 80's!!

We had a great time and the weather couldn't have been more perfect.

Thanks to all my AMAZING neighbors who came and helped with food.
We love you!!!

Here is a picture re-cap of our fun week....
