9 days of bliss {day 2}

{Day 2}

Day 2 was like a whirl wind.
We woke up and the kids wanted to do EVERYTHING we possibly could.
We had to explain to them that we still had 8 full days ahead of us.
I was afraid we'd run out of things to do.
Apparently, my kids are happy sitting at the beach ALL DAY, so I didn't have to
worry about finding activities for them to do.
What a relief....

We opened the curtains to find the most amazing views right outside our windows.
We were only 3 floors up and right in front of us was the
BIG, BEAUTIFUL BEACH

We snorkeled at Black rock, went to Whaler's Village for shopping and hair embroidery braids, swam and swam, enjoyed the sun and a great book and last but not least, drove to Lahaina
and enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Lahaina fish co. on the pier overlooking the water.

I want to document that this is the first time my kids have ever tried sashimi (raw fish).
And they LOVED it! They kept asking for more and more. It was pretty amazing!

Honestly, I can say, I felt like this was about as close to Heaven as I could possibly imagine...
Great day

At this point...
I can't imagine the days getting any better than today.

We'll see!

9 days of bliss {day 1}

{Day 1}

What an amazing adventure we've had this week!
9 days of pure relaxation and bonding with the fam.
I think it's safe to say 'MISSION ACCOMPLISHED'!
I'm always amazed with modern technology and the fact that we can board a plane and fly for several hours and arrive somewhere completely different and exotic.
We went from a freezing cold winter, to a beautiful warm paradise in a matter of hours.
Love that!
We stayed at the Marriot beach resort vacation club in Kaanapali.
It was so beautiful and more than I could have asked for.
Our accommodations included a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom, kitchen, family room unit.
And the best part....
It was beach front with breathtaking views

Day 1 {Christmas morning}
We left Salt Lake at 11:30 am and arrived in Maui at 3:00 pm.
The kids were so excited they wanted to head to the beach the minute we landed.

So.... that's exactly what we did!
We dropped off our stuff and ran for the water...

The first day was amazing.
I love this picture because it's merely impossible to take a bad picture in Hawaii.
Just point and shoot and you're sure to capture the Island's beauty!

~Aloha~
